Tabu Agate was mined in Africa about 25 years ago and very little is seen these days. Also known as Taboo Agate, this material offers a gorgeous array of colors such as bright reds, pink, black, tan, gray, all floating in a translucent quartz base. These are natural colors, not dyed or treated in any way. Most generally very solid and stable, Tabu Agate will take a high polish easily using most any of the common polishing compounds.
