Stone Canyon Jasper is found in California between Los Angeles and San Francisco.  It supports a great brecciated pattern of yellow and white patterns often along with a bit of red.  It takes a mirror polish and is still readily available on today’s market.  It also is one of those materials that has been around since at least the 1960’s.
