Blue Opal in the past has predominately come from Peru, however, in 2004 an all new material was found in Arizona.  The cabochons featured here are from the recently found deposit in Arizona.  This is a very stable and hard opal that takes an excellent polish and will look terrific in any setting.  We have only been able to find a few pieces at this time and really don’t know if much will ever become available.
