Amethyst Sage Agate comes from the brush-laden foothills of the Bilk Creek Mountains of Northern Nevada.  The influence of manganese and iron oxide minerals in the chalcedony not only create an incredible translucent lavender chalcedony, but also produces exotic scenes throughout the chalcedony nodules.  It is a very beautiful material of most often has dendritic trees floating in the lavender base.
